How you can watch:

http://secretclassic.com/live/

The link above is a live stream from USA Gymnastics. They will be streaming both the junior and senior sessions. They are aiming to show at least 70% of the routines live and all routines will be on their YouTube channel after the meet.

I'm sure there will be plenty of quick hits happening on twitter as always. We will be at the meet, not doing quick hits, but what I like to call commentary! (Just commenting on things that are happening throughout the meet.)

  1. Hey girls,

Do you know if you can watch the live broadcast on Universal Sports site after the meet is over? I'm going out of town that weekend and I probably won't be able to watch it until later that evening. I THINK I remember from last year that you can view it afterwards for a little while (a week or so?) but I can't remember for sure. I'm like scrambling to make sure that there is NO WAY I will miss it!

    1. I'm not positive, but I believe so. It has been archived online in the past. If not, I'm sure someone will upload it on YouTube pretty quickly.

  2. Do you know hy Sarah Finnegan is not in the roster?

    1. She injured her shoulder and had surgery a few months ago. It was announced that she is not competing.

  3. Will Universal be streaming this live on their website for free? I don't have Universal Sports as a channel with my cable network.

    1. Yes, if you read the "How you can watch" part above I said Universal Sports does a live webcast and USAG said they might do a live stream for the junior session.

  4. Is it for sure that Katelyn Ohashi will not attend the secret classics?

    1. It's not official, but she said she hasn't been in the gym since her surgery. So it's highly unlikely she'll be ready for Classics.

  5. Kennedy baker has also been injured. She was not at the last camp. Sabrina Schwab has stated that she will not be competing this year. Taylor Lawson in Jrs has also had injuries this spring but she may be completely back.
Did you mean to include hopes athletes in Jrs? Samantha Davis, Olivia Trautman, Aylona Shchennikova, Adeline Sabados, Jaala Downes, and Shilese Jones are all HOPES athletes. You can qualify hopes if you get the needed score in a Jr competition, but not the other way around because of modified rules in a HOPES competition.

    1. Okay thanks for letting me know. I'll update the list! And all those girls competed at the elite qualifier and got the required score for junior elite. I've seen some of them mention competing at Classics so I believe they can compete either HOPES or elite.

    2. They competed in the elite qulifier as HOPES. You can't compete in a qualifier in HOPES and qualify for Jr Elite regardless of the score because HOPES has modified rules. If you compete in a Jr Elite qualifier, you can compete in a HOPES competition but not the other way around. A lot of people use "classics" to refer to the whole meet. The US Challenge portion included. I do not believe that they can compete in a Jr Elite competition because they have not qualified.
